When I Grow Up

Cabin Fever

A group of people are trapped in the woods with a horrifying flesh-eating virus.

‘What was that guy in?’ I asked myself the whole time I was watching this film. And trying to work it out, was the most interesting thing about that ninety minutes. To save you the bother of watching it, he was the best friend in Boy Meets World.
Every now and then I watch a film that is so bad I really wonder how it ever got the funding to be made. This is one of them. How did they pitch it? The story is very obvious and unoriginal, the script is dull; the characters are typically stereotyped and the opportunity for suspense seems ignored. “Let’s put in a few sex scenes with young girls with their tits out and we might get away with it,” appears to be the way they conned the guys at the studio. So if you think a couple of minutes of that is worth it, then, by all mean, watch this film. Admittedly, the actors did the best of what they could with what they were given, and if you can get over the annoyance of constantly thinking, ‘well, why didn’t they just do that?’ then there are some unexpected outcomes and a couple of good screw-your-face-up cringe-worthy gore moments to enjoy.
