When I Grow Up

The Truth about Kate Moss

Image to come

Shown on channel 5, 27th January. Directed by Margeret Meenahan
Oh my god, this has to be the crappest thing I’ve ever seen on telly! If it’s repeated, honestly do not waste your time watching it. I’m a bit of a fan of Kate Moss, so I thought I’d be interested even though it was on channel 5 and didn’t hold much expectation. But this was so incredibly dull it was unbelievable! The only interesting thing to come of this program was the interview with Naomi Campbell’s PA when she described how Kate told her she was gorgeous and proceeded to snog and touch her!
The rest of the program was used up with the same 3 or 4 photos they’d invested in, being shown over and over again. I honestly think they showed Kate’s class photo more than 20 times. They zoomed in and out of it with funky music; they quickly zoomed along her row to stop at her; tried showing a flat photo from different angles; but it was still the same sodding photo!!
Not only was there nothing new in this documentary; they didn’t even tell us information that we might have known already. They showed the odd headline, but didn’t even tell us what the stories were behind them. The narrator went on and on about the debauchery at Kate’s 30th birthday party, and showed the headlines about her being mad about who spilled the beans. But what were the beans? I haven’t read those articles and really needed to know, but this program couldn’t even be bothered to do that! It was absolutely a terrible bit of television.
