XXL Maybelline mascara

Or Maybelline New York XXL Volume + Length micro-fibre mascara, to give it its full title. (Mine’s in Extra Black)
This is one of those mascaras that provides you with some white gunk to go on your lashes first, and some black gunk to go on after. When I first saw this advertised I thought it was just another gimmick to make people think they can get their eyelashes looking longer, but I have to say, this mascara is bloody fantastic! It honestly, really, truly works! The white stuff has micro-fibre or something in it, and it literally sticks to the lashes and keeps going, so there’s a fraction more than there used to be. So when the black layer goes over the top, my lashes genuinely look a lot longer than they really are. It was just a couple of pounds more than my normal cheapy mascara, so I will definitely be continuing to buy this one. It has a fantastic effect.
