This is Bam who began skating and hurting himself in Johnny Knoxsville’s Jackass and now has his own show doing various silly stunts and winding up his parents.

To be honest, I have just finished watching season 5 (and the last) Viva La Bam from America, but I think the 4th one is being shown at the moment – the one where they go round several other countries. Although it’s still worth watching, this season is no where near as funny or as shocking as previous shows. And as each one goes on, it becomes more and more obvious that the bit they show at the beginning as their “spontanious idea” was clearly filmed after it had all happened.

Well season 5 isn’t much better when it comes to that sort of thing and I am very suspicous about which bits were set up and which bits the family are just acting for the cameras and sometimes it’s just obvious. Throughout this series I definitely laughed a lot more than I did in 4 – so if you’ve been put off by the one you’re watching now – don’t give up on the next one, it is much better. Unfortunately they still include Don Vito in several stunts ( I really really don’t find him amusing in the slightest) but there is less of him, which is good. It was also clear that by the end they were starting to run out of ideas. “I know, lets have another war” and “I know, lets invite our rock star friend to join us and conveniently fill an episode”.

But despite Bam loving himself more and more, the stuff he gets up to is very funny and worth watching.
