An iron age hillfort near Seaton in Devon
In iron age terms, there’s not an awful lot to see here. There’s only one ditch and bank, though there are two triangle shaped ramparts at the entrance. There are several trees now growing in the enclosure, but it’s not dense, so it’s easy to walk roound the ramparts and see accross.
If you’re not at all interested in the Iron Age, then this is a lovely peaceful wooded area to take a walk in. There’s a car park, but no loos. A very peaceful area; I’d like to go back in spring to see if there are bluebells there.
