I’m shortlisted for an award!!!
Wow! I’m so chuffed! (Do people still say chuffed?) Be In The Place is on the shortlist for The Lancashire Libraries Children’s Book award 2006. Apparently (from what I could find out on the internet) 150 books are read by teenagers and they choose the shortlist of ten books, and I can’t believe that mine is one of them. (Despite spending ages at the computer, I still don’t know what the other nine books are). I genuinely feel so honoured. If any of you who kindly voted for my book happen to be reading this; Thank you very much!!!!
The winner is announced in June, so fingers crossed.
