I still haven’t worked out what to do when I grow up! I’m mainly a writer, an artist, and a fairytale dressmaker with various crafty hobbies! Here (and on YouTube) I share bits of my life, thoughts, and what I’m learning along the way. Let’s find magic and inspiration; join me for this creative living adventure!

A sneak peek at Glastonbury Festival 2017 a week before the fun starts!

The Glastonbury Festival sign

This is mainly a photography post as there isn’t a great deal to say about it really! I had the opportunity to have a walk around the Glastonbury Festival site last night, so of course I took my camera with me! I also vlogged it, so when I’ve had chance to edit the footage, I’ll add that too. I’m pleased to report that the ground underfoot is very firm and the grass very green. It amazes me how much there is still to do in the next six days, but so much has happened in the last week, I’m sure they’ll manage it!….

If you’re going to Glastonbury Festival this year, then if you haven’t already, I’d advise you do a bit of practice walking! I walk the dog uphill twice a day, but my calves are killing me today after climbing up to the Glastonbury sign!

Well there we are! We only had about an hour and a half, so I think we managed to cover a good amount of the festival site in that time, but obviously there’s so much more to see. Keep a look out on my You Tube channel in the next couple of days for the video I took. This has really heightened my excitement and I cannot wait!

Addendum: Here’s the video! It’s part of my weekly vlog, so if you’re only interested in the Glastonbury bit, skip to 5:12.

Have you heard of the Baader–Meinhof phenomenon? Or perhaps you’ve heard it called ‘Frequency bias’? Have you ever looked around for your new car; chosen a make and model you’re interested in, and then all of a sudden you see it everywhere? It’s the car in front of you in the traffic jam, and then you walk past two more as you walk across the car park to the Tescos entrance. It seems like the universe knows you want that car, and decides to show it to you ALL the time…

Thank you Tori 🙂 Yes, it’s difficult to get your bearings when everything’s only half there!
