I love them!

I’m a sucker for a bargain; and if you’re the same, then look at at your peril, those enticing plant catalogues that come through the post. I am talking, in particular, about Van Meuwen and J Parker. They are simply full of offers that are too good to leave behind; it would just be such a waste! I spent hours on their websites choosing what I wanted. Then I added up how much it all came to and thought Oh Shit. So I had to go through choosing what I could manage without. I did pretty well, considering.
My husband, whose opinion on gardening can be picked up on by his statement that he’d be happy to concrete over the whole lot (“It would be cheaper too”). I haven’t been entirely honest with him about how much I have actually spent! I am hoping the postman goes past the front door (where his office is situated) and brings them to me round the back. If he does find out, a little bribery may be in order.
