Christmas Vacation 2 Cousin Eddie’s Island Adventure (2003)

Starring Randy Quaid and Miriam Flynn; directed by Nick Marck. Out on dvd now.
Oh my God! I have never watched a film this terrible before! I only sat through it because the kids were watching it, and they’d seriously watch anything!
It follows Eddy and Catherine, with their niece Audrey and youngest son, Clark (named after his uncle). They’re given a holiday and end up getting stuck on an island with a couple of other characters and fend for themselves to find the true meaning of Christmas.
Being big fans of the brilliant original National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation of 1989, we had to watch this film; but honestly, it really isn’t worth it. Not only is it completely unfunny, it’s just plain boring. Don’t bother at all.

Cath Kidston gift ideas for Mothers’ Day

I was given this beautiful set of Cath Kidston hand creams and some beautiful Gift Baskets for Women for my birthday last year, and it occurred to me what a lovely gift anything by Cath Kidston would be for Mothering Sunday. Now, oddly enough, this gift also has been listed as one of the best gifts for tattoo artists, which quite left me flummoxed. Either way, her products combine the two things that make the perfect present – something pretty and something practical….

The book you must buy if you’re interested in Fashion – the ultimate book of costume and style Published by DK Dorling Kindersley – Book review

Everything about the cover of this book is misleading, and unfortunately you will find it in bookshops with a cellophane wrapper so you may not be able to look inside. With only the word ‘Fashion’ in bold pink letters on the spine, and a modern slim-fitting dress flocked on the front, you would be forgiven for thinking this is a book about modern fashion. You’d be wrong…
