When I Grow Up

Weekly Wardrobe – Halloween Harry Potter style

Halloween fashion

It’s the last day of Blogtober – I did it! Hooray! and Phew! I’m finishing off the month with a witch / Harry Potter look as it’s Halloween today. I had actually planned to do a goth look, but as I’m sneezing and yawning (I’m so tired lately) which make my eyes water, I didn’t think it was conducive to black eye shadow and heavy eyeliner!…

Harry Potter style

It’s the same basic red top from the other day, from Tesco, and I’m layering over it a Gryffindor Harry Potter cardigan that I bought from Hot Topic when we were in America a few years ago. (By the way, always go up a size or two in Hot Topic – this cardigan is Extra large and I still can’t do the buttons up without it gaping. Tsk.)

The ruffled black skirt is by Bohemia, which I bought from their stall at Glastonbury Festival about six years ago. Oh how I wish they’d come back – I’ve missed their stall so much the last couple of years!

Autumn style

Basic black leggings from Primark, and Clarks ankle boots, that I deliberately didn’t show you properly as they are covered in dog snot. The light is fading fast at this time of year and I just didn’t have time to wash them. (That’s my excuse anyway.) No doubt I’ll be wearing them for another weekly wardrobe soon and I’ll be more prepared. I will – honest.

Kipling bag

The bag is a new second hand purchase from ebay and I haven’t fully swapped everything over from my old bag yet. It’s from Kipling – I love all the pockets and organising bits, but not so keen on the monkey keyring, so I took that off. I love the autumn colours though.

The copper necklace was also from ebay. It’s not really my colour, but the leaf design is so perfect for this time of year, I couldn’t resist. I also don’t usually wear necklaces that length – the last time I wore this one I tied a not in the back to make it shorter – but I thought I’d give it a go. I’m still not sure, but hey ho.
