Friday night, headlining The Other Stage, Glastonbury 2004
We watched a bit of Oasis first so we only saw the last half of this set, and to be honest, a lot of that time was spent getting the kids to bed in the tent. But once I’d done that, I stood outside and danced along – I had a pretty good view from where we were camped. The strange face on the big screen behind them was a bit scary, but their lights were brilliant – lazers and everything. A big improvement for the Other stage this year.
So I wasn’t in the crowd, but I felt the atmosphere wave accross the field towards me and I had a little dance where I was. These Glastonbury veterans never disappoint.
