On channel 4. Don’t know what day I watched this and the website had a nice Teachers page, but without the most important information, like when it’s actually on.
Follows a bunch of secondary school teachers, and managing to completely leave out any education!
How many episodes have I missed? I couldn’t believe it when I flicked over and found there’s a new series back on.
So I’m a bit behind in the fact that I have no idea who the new teachers are, but it had carried on being hilarious. I love all the mad things going on in the background, like kids getting beaten up and no-one noticing. I loved the head teacher asking the lesbian what lesbians actually do. But I didn’t love the new guy who seems to be the one that everyone fancies and who gets a shag every night of the week. He’s just not good looking enough. No where near in fact.
Last week’s episode was bravely politically incorrectly dealing with gay awareness week, with a boy falling in love with a male teacher and his reaction probably being very realistic. This series is definitely one to watch.
Stars Tamzin Malleson (Bodies), Mathew Horne (The Catherine Tate Show; 20 things to do before you’re 30), Lee Williams (The Forsyte Saga).
