It’s cold at the moment isn’t it?!
Our central heating is run by a wood-fired Rayburn. We thought this was a good idea at the time – eco friendly and avoids the rising price of oil; however, our chimney is solid with tar, probably due to the torrential rain that we’ve had practically every day since before Christmas. So far two chimney sweeps have been unable to unblock it and we haven’t had any heating for two weeks. What I need is a lovely warm shawl to keep me warm.
