Across the pond they dress up as anything and everything for their Halloween costumes- the sexier the better; however over here we tend to stick to traditional spooky themes. So our choices are more-or-less limited to ghosts, witches, zombies and vampires, but I’ve been searching Etsy UK for outfit ideas that will leave the other guests at the Halloween party envious of how good you look!….
I love this t-shirt by Boisterous Glamour– the distressing makes it look cobwebby and perfect for Halloween as part of a witch or historical vampire costume. It’s also just pretty cool!
This is my favourite dress by Camelot Costumes for Halloween. If you add fangs and a little blood, the red and black velvet would look so dramatic and classy at the same time.
I’ve been a fan of TPF FaerieWear for many years and there’s plenty of witchy items to choose from in Helen’s shop. Even better, it’s all made of fleece, so you’ll be toasty warm going Trick or Treating. I particularly like this pointy hooded shrug with the fun cat design that reminds me of Gobbolino.
And of course, just because we’re scary, doesn’t mean we can’t be sexy too! This latex flying bat dress from Fetasialatex is utterly fabulous! I would so wear this if I had the occasion (and a smaller tummy).
With tattered strips of cotton draping all over this outfit, it makes an usually pretty mummy costume by Oshun Costumes.
And lastly, here’s a luxury adult witch dress from Oshun Occasions. With its hand-embroidered silver cobweb and all the layers of fabric in the skirt, it would also make a great alternative wedding dress at Halloween.
Will you be dressing up this year?
