Weekly Wardrobe – Pink & lilac

On Saturday Chris and I had a look round Clark’s Village in Street on the hunt for boots for each of us – preferably in the last of the January sales! We were unsuccessful, but did come away with a few things we hadn’t intended on buying! We also stopped for a quick Weekly Wardrobe photo-shoot – I’m sorry if I look freezing, because I was!….

Blush pink jumper

This blush pink jumper (and the pale blue one like it) have been favourites since I bought them the week before Christmas. I particularly love this colour and it seems to go with all skirts and trousers in my wardrobe. It was from Tesco and unfortunately is no longer the current range at my local branch, but these items often pop up in a different colour, so I will keep my eye out! It’s just the right amount of bagginess to wear over the top of long-sleeved tops, but thin enough to wear comfortably under coats. Have a look at me wearing it as my outfit of the day on my You Tube channel when I went to the choir Christmas do. Good news for you if you like it; it’s currently half price on the website! If you are interested in buying, then I’d suggest going down a size if you’re not sure which to get. I’m definitely at the top end of size 16 at the moment, but I took mine back to swap for the 14 as it was too big. (That felt nice!)

The fluffy pink snood is so soft, I wish you could touch it! I bought it from a shop in Wells called Forever England. I love it there, it’s really my style and such good value too. I’ve never owned a snood before, so I wasn’t completely sure about it, but like I mentioned, I was seduced by its fluffiness and I had to have it against my skin!

Lilac ballet skirt

My lilac skirt was from George at Asda a few years ago. I like the way the hem hangs lower at the sides and the tulle peaking out gives it a ballerina feel. I love anything that gives me the opportunity to pretend I’m a ballerina, so this was a winning buy.

I’m wearing simple black leggings underneath, and my boots were a Christmas present from Chris and are from Timberland. See them more closely in last week’s post.

My bag is the same one I’ve used most of the winter and can be seen better in this post. Some Kipling bags are on sale at the moment on Amazon – take a look at the link below.

Are you a snood wearer? To be honest, I’m still not sure!
