Everything about the cover of this book is misleading, and unfortunately you will find it in bookshops with a cellophane wrapper so you may not be able to look inside. With only the word ‘Fashion’ in bold pink letters on the spine, and a modern slim-fitting dress flocked on the front, you would be forgiven for thinking this is a book about modern fashion. You’d be wrong…

3 Red dresses – a mini haul

I’ve heard on good authority that whilst red was around for the Spring/Summer 2017 collections; it is going to be the colour for Autumn/Winter this year. I’d like to say I’m just fashion forward and ahead of the game, but really my husband, Chris bought me these three red dresses to try because he wanted me to wear one for a photography competition with the theme ‘red’. I think he did pretty well!….

My Weekly Wardrobe is no more! Sadly I don’t have the time to keep up with as many posts as I used to be doing, so I’ve decided to make monthly look-books instead with all my recent outfits together. It means each post is going to be a bit longer – I hope you don’t mind! So this one goes right back to Mothering Sunday when I wore the above outfit for our walk around the Glastonbury Festival site. We also have a glittery ruffled pink jumper teamed with a a 1950’s style circle skirt and lastly a black skater dress with a cool neckline….

Weekly Wardrobe – My first jeggings!

Yes, that’s right. I have never owned a pair of skinny jeans or jeggings before; however I have been so desperate for comfy trousers for winter, I have succumbed! I have short legs and chunky thighs, but I’ve been working on my squats and lunges, and have decided fu*k it, who cares anyway if they don’t look brilliant – I need to keep my legs warm! So I bought these in the Next sale and have decided they actually look alright with a long jumper. By the way, snow was gently falling outside when these photos were taken and I was too chicken to brave the cold. So I’m afraid these photos are not up our usual quality as we’re inside on a dark winter day…..
